A practical guide to short-form content

Build an AI reel around one useful idea

Turn an audience problem into a hook, a short explanation and a payoff. Prepare a reel brief that supports review before production.

Make the opening earn the next second

A hook should reveal a relevant problem or create an honest unanswered question. Avoid a dramatic promise the video cannot deliver. For a bakery, showing a collapsed cake can introduce a concrete lesson about cooling, rather than an unrelated shocking claim.

Write the payoff first, then remove any scene that does not help the audience reach it. Choose a short target duration, but check the actual recorded voice: a word count alone cannot establish the finished running time.

Prepare a scene-by-scene handoff

Divide the script into beats: problem, demonstration and takeaway. Give each beat a visual purpose and note where text would clarify the idea. Use original or licensed media and identify factual statements that require checking.

In the Eilya workflow, script and voice approval precede production. Inspect the actual master for timing, captions and factual meaning; an approved plan or storyboard is not evidence that rendering succeeded.

Evaluate the result against its goal

For a tutorial, look for comprehension and meaningful saves. For an introduction, examine whether viewers reach the explanation. Compare similar publication windows and treat small samples cautiously; do not confuse a single high-view post with a repeatable formula.

Questions before you start

Can I guarantee that a reel will go viral?

No. Creative structure can improve clarity, but distribution and audience response are external outcomes.

Should every scene have large text?

No. Use text when it adds meaning or supports silent viewing, leaving space for the subject and interface overlays.
